Our Tropical Poplin Cargo Shorts carry forward the design of the field trousers issued to U.S. troops in the 1940s—purpose-built for movement, utility, and comfort in warm climates. Cut from 5-oz. cotton poplin, they’re light, breathable, and quick to dry, making them ideal for long days outdoors or on the move.
The relaxed fit and 9.5" inseam provide coverage just above the knee with plenty of room to move. The double-layer seat adds reinforcement where it counts.
The generous side-seam cargo pockets feature expandable gussets and close with hidden snaps. Front and rear pockets are protected by flaps to keep contents secure, and the waistband fastens with chip-resistant buttons and a sturdy metal zipper.
